Mr. Jakir Hossain was working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering, Metropolitan University, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He was also working as a coordinator, Department of CSE (Evening), Metropolitan University, Sylhet and as a guest faculty in the department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sylhet Engineering College which is affiliated with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. He took study leave from the above mentioned organizations to complete his PhD Degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology China. He is also working as an Advisor of IT Orchid which is a software development firm, the web address of this organization is www.itorchid.com. His research interests are in Cryptography, Secure Communication for Wireless Sensor Network, Bio-Cryptography and Reduce De-Duplication in Cloud Database. He was working as a Lecturer in the Department of Electronic and Communication Engineering, Southern University Bangladesh and as an IT Administrator, Opex C&F before joining the Metropolitan University.
