Md. Anwar Hossen is working as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering, Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh since February 2016. He is keenly interested in machine learning and deep learning. He is also eagerly interested in the arena of Machine Learning and Neural Network. His research focuses on Image Segmentation using CNN, Human Activity Recognition using CNN, Intelligent Agent Design, Internet of Things, Software Defect Prediction, Disease Prediction, Feature Extraction. He has done his undergraduate thesis in the area of IPv6 and in the Graduate thesis on Human Activity Recognition using Convolutional Neural Networks. He likes to solve programming problems, engaged with his students. Exploring and learning the new technology is his passion. He used to solve competitive programming problem in different online judge platform like uva, lightoj, vjudge. He has participated in different programming contest including ACM ICPC regional final, National Programing Contest.  Before joining at Daffodil International University, he was employed by several renowned organizations across the country including Multinational Company, Software Development Company.
